If it weren't for the amazing fellow associates who work hard to make sure the store runs smoothly, the store would easily fall apart. Management plays and "chills" all day in their offices and break room, so don't expect much leadership from the leadership team but the family feel from everyone else who works there makes up for it! The pay isn't bad but the company could do far better, especially considering how much more opportunity (slack) the associates pick up after management.
Pros and Cons
The people, the benefits, success sharing, atmosphere
Low pay for hard work, management team is a joke, very few hours available

I cant praise this company enough. They are the most supportive and encouraging company that I have ever worked for. They are a company that actually lives up to their core values. They offer excellent benefits but they could increase the hourly rate. I am having to pick up another job because I can't make it off of the pay that they offer.
Pros and Cons
Benefits, Work life balance, support, opportunities for advancement

Bellevue, WA - February 10, 2022
THD consistently scheduled me for 29 hours a week to purposely keep me as a part time employee in order to keep me from getting employee benefits and save the company's bottom line. They prefer to have a large amount of part time employees rather than have a small number of full time employees. Their only concern is profit not people.
Pros and Cons
there are none, its a dead end job
poor wages and inconsistent scheduling

I loved my job until i got pregnant. The day i told my bosses i was pregnant was the day it all went downhill. For a company that strives to be"family oriented" and says they care they have so much to learn. When your pregnant you need to snack at least every 2 hours to help keep you going as the baby takes all your energy. I was told I wasnt allowed to keep them at my desk in my drawer because it was unprofessional. But i also wasnt allowed to go back to the break room to eat because there was customers, even of there wasnt anybody there. As i got more pregnant my doctor wrote a note asking to have me sit as an accommodation to keep me working ( i wouldve had to have been on bed rest if not). I was then told they "dont accept doctor's notes" and a stool is unprofessional. For a 6-9 month pregnant women a stool is unprofessional. Not to mention the comments made to and about me by managers were completely and totally uncalled for and inappropriate and when reported nothing was done.
Pros and Cons
Sometimes they have decent people to work with
Management, pay, literally everything else

Sacramento, CA - December 17, 2021
The management and other associates are friendly-hard working people. Some customers are the worst. There was always customers and teams of thieves coming in the store stealing, running games on associates, being rude.
It was difficult to get out of cashiering to transfer to something else since there infrequent openings in other departments.
Pros and Cons
Good benefits, opportunity for paid education, steady work.
Dealing with rude customers
