In 2011, Julie Wainwright founded the RealReal Company, primarily empowering the consumers and buyers. RealReal is now a leading business of authentic luxury consignment, with four retail stores in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Besides, it has ten luxury consignment offices across the country, serving as World’s most significant market place for the consigners. It has a team of more than 100 veteran goldsmith, gem dealers, and luxury brand authenticators that inspect thousands of items every day to ensure the 100% authenticity of its goods. From kids, men’s, women’s fashion to fine art, jewelry, watches, and home decor, it is catering to the most diverse and trusted luxury products. In the context of the global Green House Effect, it took up the CEO Carbon Neutral Challenge issued by GUCCI president & CEO Marco Bizzarri, and it is proud to announce that it will be carbon neutral in 2021.

At first it was great working for the realreal. After a year new supervisors came in and we're not great, cheap raise (cents), no growth to move anywhere, lots of mandatory work when they wanted, no appreciation for your work or time, lots of favoritism, the job is ok for a stepping stone but to stay there is to not want more in life.

Pros and Cons
Benefits are great
No growth and no appreciation for your work or dedication
