When you file a complaint they tend to turn it around and make you look like the one being reported.

No proper training micro managing at its finest sucks …………………………………………………………..………………………………………………it’s not about the people anymore it was great at 1st I was there 7 years

I started as a Data Entry Clerk and worked my way over to Administrative Assistant. I also grew up in the salvation Army and love the organization!

Great place to work?, wonderful people. Wonderful mission and vision. Great support from headquarters.

I loved helping people. But did not like the way the employees were treated. They also did not pay very well.

Working for The Salvation Army was a good experience. The work I did as an Audit Clerk was fulfiling and there was never a dull moment. The pay was not great but there was opportunity for advancement.

There's no other place I would want to fulfill my Calling than The Salvation Army. For the most part I enjoyed all of my time with the Army.

I always wanted to be in a heath and hospitals type field and while going to school and looking for work I applied to volunteer for the salvation army in Cambridge, The experience of helping those less fortunate changed my perception of this world and made me a more compassionate human being , The smiles and thanks you receive are priceless , The rewards are the way your heart warms after making a difference in another human beings life.

Good memories and the people were very compationet to help the community. My experience was sensational, they gave me the opportunity to grow and serve the community. The money collected actually went back to the community.

As the customers entered the grocery stores or the department stores during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season I would be there to greet them with a smile. As I rang my two bells to the music playing in the background I would not even miss a single beat. Along with making sure that everyone entering was greeted. I also made sure to bless everyone exiting a Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. I truly enjoy this job. I have done it eleven years now. I have met a lot of individuals over the years. That's my story and I am glad I was able to share it.

I loved working for The Salvation Army helping the community. Everyone who works there has a big heart to help the community and make great coworkers. The salary is good for non -profit with great benefits.

And it also depends on the captains lt whoever isnrunning the place. If they are rude and mistreat u. It is not a good feeking. But when u do have majors that apprexiaate all your haard work feels good

i worked there for 11 yrs each year that i work i had more and more work to do that cause me to heath issuesi tried take a leave to recover and was denied i had a mental break down and quit

Dont even bother unless u like being judged and gossiped about on the reg. There are some genuinely good people that work there but beware the adolescent bs is the rule not the exception.

Non Profit organization that promotes help for those in need. Entered excerpts of legacies to charitable programs. Scanned legal documents in the content manager system. I liked the religious services once a week in the mornings prior to work. Had some nice experiences with coworkers.

Working for The Salvation Army humbled me. It afforded me the opportunity to help many residents in the community. Developing relationships with surrounding churches, the police department, district courts, and various organizations, provided resources that allowed for servicing the community without any challenges.
