As the customers entered the grocery stores or the department stores during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season I would be there to greet them with a smile. As I rang my two bells to the music playing in the background I would not even miss a single beat. Along with making sure that everyone entering was greeted. I also made sure to bless everyone exiting a Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year. I truly enjoy this job. I have done it eleven years now. I have met a lot of individuals over the years. That's my story and I am glad I was able to share it.

Pros and Cons
Had a excellent relationship with co-workers and staff members
There are no cons of working at this company

Working for The Salvation Army humbled me. It afforded me the opportunity to help many residents in the community. Developing relationships with surrounding churches, the police department, district courts, and various organizations, provided resources that allowed for servicing the community without any challenges.

Pros and Cons
Seeing those on hard times bounce back.
Your time is not your time during the holidays (Christmas and Thanksgiving). Extremely busy.
