About Title Manager

What does a Title Manager do?

As Title Managers, we manage and supervise the day-to-day responsibilities of the Tag and Title Coordinators by regularly interacting with customers and stores, regulatory agencies, and bank personnel to resolve title issues. We manage customer inquiries and requests on a daily basis while working with Sales & Finance Managers on title-related matters to confirm the negotiability of title documents and report discrepancies. We review incoming titles for accuracy with lienholder, odometer reading, VIN and confirm the release of liens.

Core tasks:

  • verify that funds have been correctly collected
  • prepare legal transfer documents for the MVA
  • maintain an accurate temporary and out of state tag log
