Tito's Handmade Vodka is one of the vodka brands produced by Fifth Generation, which was created in 1997 in Austin, Texas, by Tito Beveridge. It specializes in vodka made from yellow corn rather than potatoes or wheat. It is unaged and has been distilled six times. Tito's Handmade Vodka was first craft-distilled in copper pot stills at Texas' first legal distillery, under the name Tito's Handmade Vodka. By 2001, the brand had outgrown the industry norm of 40,000 cases for a craft distillery as established by the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States. It was no longer classified as a micro-distillery.
