About Training Officer

What does a Training Officer do?

As Training Officers, we are responsible for inducting new members of staff by providing them with the required preparation and teachings. We identify and close gaps in existing staff members’ skills and administer needs assessments and training programs. We liaise with existing clients to clarify job descriptions and contribute to the operations of a company. Drafting instructional manuals and relevant documentation is part of our main responsibilities. We administer regular and detailed needs assessments to identify skill deficits. Working as Training Officers, we coach new hires to their function within the grand scheme and established company norms. We also address skills deficits through training activities.

  • monitor staff’s performance
  • uphold confidentiality
  • train new recruits and existing employees as required
