Transdev

I have a disability and qualify for intermittent FMLA. Team leads gave me high scores on my work. Most co-workers liked me because of my sense of humor and positive attitude. Management would smile to my face in the open office and sharply criticize me usually in their office but not always. I got compliments from our clients that were never put in my records and the leads didn't know why. When I was fired I was told it was due to client complaints but was given no details and the dismissal letter gave another vaguely worded reason. I was fired just after I'd missed some work and the time missed was covered under FMLA. My coworkers and I believe the real reason for the firing was because of my FMLA.

B.s. transition from transit plus to transdev way too much no understanding between drivers and dispatch

The pay and benefits are great, is public transit so you deal with all types of the public you do what the city tells you to do but this will break down stuff will happen on the road they tend not to believe the drivers when we have issues with the buses or a customer .administration office HR is garbage, if they don't want you to work there anymore they will find ways and reasons to get rid of you even if you're a good employee or not. The head of HR is a ghost she's hard to get a hold of, hard to call. go her office and she's never available. she will find any reason to get rid of you the smallest thing that you do that goes against the rule book or the handbook she will get rid of you. Make sure you cannot get unemployment

Transdev has a nice long extensive history of mistreating it's employees. They also have a Union here ATU 1704. They do not help you when you get written up for something that is not your fault. But they will take your money every pay day. And they will let the company fire you. Stay away from this place.

Team work is not a thing here. Its always save your own. Even the people that you might think that would have your back will stab you at the back.

I worked there two months with no problem then my background came back and I got fired. If I worked there that long just let me work

I loved my job did it well but i feel like they never gave there drivers more credit than they desire and they always believe what customers say and its not always true but i would work there again because i loved the job

It is a good company, but the uppermanagement was not good. The management has been changer so hopefully things will will dramatically improve in the future, at least I hope so. Because there are a lot of good driver, mechanics, and middlemagement there, people who I like to xall my friends.
