About Transportation Coordinator

What does a Transportation Coordinator do?

As Transportation Coordinators, we are responsible for establishing company routes focusing on customer service. We ensure to dispatch all company drivers and receive all phone calls from drivers any time of day. We track routes and ensure timely deliveries to customers. Reviewing and arranging all transportation paperwork including driver logs and trip reports is part of our daily responsibilities. We review driver’s hours properly and handle client concerns and problems. Working as Transportation Coordinators, we prepare a schedule for external backhauls and review their prospects. We ensure safety aspects with D.O.T violations as recorded by Safety Director.

Core tasks:

*ensure compliance with all security standards * support management team * record driver concerns with policy violations
