About Transportation Supervisor

What does a Transportation Supervisor do?

As Transportation Supervisors, we plan and design efficient bus routes using the latest technologies. We are also responsible for identifying, contributing to the production of, implementing, and enforcing transportation service policies and regulations within the Transportation Division while regularly implementing preventative maintenance programs for the company’s vehicles. We also maintain accurate records of maintenance, fuel, and other operating expenses for the transportation fleet and ensure that it stays within the approved transportation budget. We supervise and approve transportation’s availability and schedule and document its use.

Core tasks:

  • prepare various reports, and make recommendations on how to improve the transportation program
  • monitor the weather conditions and forecast throughout the Transportation Division to ensure transport availability
  • oversee emergency repairs and situations that could affect the transportation service
