Most retail stores have enough employees to schedule for breaks, lunches, and anything you can think of. This location didn't. During the height of the pandemic, we adhered to all guidelines, but for my work weeks to be 50+ hours for three consecutive weeks and no staggered schedule? That's ludicrous. The district manager, Mr. Cox pins blame on his underlings, gaslights his employees, and expects them to continue to perform at their best. Customers had great experiences while I was there because of my character, but working for Mr. Cox was nothing short of a nightmare. They were in breach of my contract for 3 months nor providing me any benefits despite being full time for every one of those months, and when I attempted to stand up in protest over my treatment, Mr. Cox claimed he was unaware I needed help (even tho I requested it). I do not recommend anyone working for trek as they protect those who break labor laws and contractual agreements.
