About Tumbling Instructor

What does a Tumbling Instructor do?

We, tumbling instructors, provide coaching to gymnastics classes and teach the floor techniques. We are responsible for formulating flexible as well as engaging lesson outlines for our students. Our duties include teaching the tumbling maneuvers through in-depth illustrations while promoting safe activities. We generate different yet individual lesson plans for every student according to their special needs. It is our responsibility to lead the warm-up exercises before the competitions. Moreover, we teach the basic and foundational techniques, such as round-offs, rolling, and handstands. As tumbling instructors, we provide instructions for advanced practices, such as front flips and handsprings.

  • ensuring compliance with safety instructions
