University of California at San Diego (UCSD) was founded in 1912 was later converted to a full- university in 1961. It is one of the top 15 universities in the world. Its faculty currently boasts six Nobel laureates, 07 National Medal of Science winners, and 07 MacArthur Fellows also known as the 'genius awards'.It is a public sector University which is headquartered at La Jolla, CA It is known for having origin to San Diego Supercomputer Center, UCSD Medical Center, and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
