About
Description
As the underwriters, we work in multiple insurance departments to create policies, strategies, and plans. Our job role requires us to work on various aspects of insurance and decide whether to give insurance to someone or not. We are also in charge of reviewing the insurance applications, processing them, denying them, or approving them. As underwriters, our job role also requires us to have strong mathematical and analytical skills. Along with all these roles, we also interview customers, run a background check and inquire about financial assets.
Core tasks:
- working in various insurance agencies as policy makes
- accepting or rejecting insurance applications
- interviewing applicants
- estimating risk and profit
