UNICEF is an agency in the United Nations which is accountable for furnishing humanitarian and developmental aid to children across the world. It came into existence on 11 December 1946 and is among the most extensive and identifiable social welfare organizations in the world, with a presence in 192 countries and territories. Furnishing vaccination and avoidance of disease, regulating treatment for children and mothers with HIV, intensifying childhood and maternal nutrition, improving sanitation, promoting education, and providing relief in response to disasters are some of the activities included in UNICEF.
