Union University is a private Christian university located across Jackson, Hendersonville, and Germantown of, Tennessee, U.S. The university was formed in 1823 as a merger of multiple schools; West Tennessee College, Hall-Moody Junior College of Martin, Tennessee, Southwestern Baptist University, and Union University of Murfreesboro. The university is positively associated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention and strives to be excellent in its duties.
