About Unit Secretary

What does an Unit Secretary do?

As Unit Secretaries, we are responsible for performing administrative tasks and coordinating the nursing station. We execute requests for materials, machinery, and facilities as instructed. Coordinating client and staff relations is also a part of our duty. We provide clinical care in line with the hospital's mission and vision while adhering to industry expectations. We coordinate the maintenance of a safe, clean, and functional physical environment according to regulatory standards. Working as Unit Secretaries, we are responsible for communicating effectively with the patients and colleagues. We develop an understanding of the working mechanism of departments for optimal management. Finally, we create and maintain a filing system.

Core tasks:

  • scheduling physicians and consultants visits
  • answering all inbounds phones calls in a competent way
  • maintaining downtime forms and performing data entry tasks
  • providing mechanism for a contact of an employee
