The Supreme Court is the most apex court in the United States. Article III of the U.S. Constitution made the Supreme Court and Congress pass laws setting up an arrangement of lower courts. There are 13 appellate courts that sit beneath the U.S. High Court, and they are known as the U.S. Courts of Appeals. The 94 federal judiciaries is coordinated into twelve regional circuits, every one of which has a court of appeals. Also, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has jurisdiction across the country to hear appeals in specific cases, for example, those including patent laws, and cases heard by the U.S. Court of International Trade & the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Being a federal institution, the court comprises of learned staff, members who enjoy a good salary package.
