About Utility Operator

What does an Utility Operator do?

As Utility Operators, we are responsible for working with different types of utility systems. We provide our services in systems such as water piping, electrical cabling, wastewater plants, or manufacturing equipment. Our job duties include the installation of water or any other utility system for the customers. We are required to maintain the tools and equipment and perform the repair of utilities for fixing the defects. Our job is to handle different types of machinery, such as forklifts and overhead cranes, to lift and move the equipment.

Core tasks:

  • keep a clean and organized work area and maintain it well
  • adhere to safety rules and procedures for ensuring the smooth running of the production process
  • notice malfunctions and repair and maintain them on time
