its advertised as hourly but its paid off of commission. I was selling cut co knifes and any sales job in my option is hard. You have to go to these meetings once a few weeks and its a big waste of time. You will end up selling this stuff to your family and then when its time to get paid it not worth it. For all the time it took me to try to sell this stuff I only got back $90

Pros and Cons
there is really no pros
everything was bad about this company

I would not recommend anyone to work for Vector marking unless if they have the ability to talk a chipmunk out of a tree.

Pros and Cons
There isn't any pros
Unless if you can sell $1,000 worth of their product in 10 days they are not worth working for

I have worked with the company for 8 years and love it! I think its a great job for people to get started who don't have a lot of experience, and learn the knowledge and skills to further themselves. Wonderful people and environment, great advancement opportunity and you get what you put in.

Pros and Cons
Great culture, knowledge focused, growth opportunities, income based on work ethic
You need to have a good work ethic, as in most sales type jobs.

If you get the chance it's not bad, get in and get out though because once you run out of family and friends to sell to it gets a lot harder to find sales.

Pros and Cons
Decent Commission Pay, Good Product, Set Your Own Hours
No Assistance With Sales, Definitely a Pyramid Scheme

You put way to much work in. They don't pay enough. They don't help you find people to sell to all they say is sell to friends and family. And when you run out the stop helping. Also they steal your paychecks and use the them for other things with out your knowledge. It's one of those too good to be true jobs. Do not go work for them.

Pros and Cons
You get a free small set of knives
Late working hours, no help getting ppl to sell to. Paycheck stealing.

This company is essentially a multi-level marketing scheme. They employ young adults fresh out of highschool to sell their product. They offer an "hourly rate" but it is not accurate and more often than not they dont go by the hourly rate and instead base pay off of commision. You supply your own gas, transportation and supplies for demos. High reccomend against this company.

Pros and Cons
There were no pros for me
Everything was a con.

I worked at this company over 25 yrs ago when it was just starting out and branching out, I still remain friends with the people and the bosses I had over the years. One of the best working experiences I ever had. Never had another place like that after I left the company!

Pros and Cons
friendly office, everyone worked well together, we were all friends outside of office

Hired for the summer. I enjoyed the team spirit, the training was on-going, and the management were very professional. As I mentioned before, if selling is your passion, you will exceed expectations! There are sales people who are earning 7-figure incomes!

Pros and Cons
Colleagues are very helpful & supportive, and they want you to succeed!
I can't think of anything.

Started as a sales rep and quickly moved into a role as an Assistant Manager. Good people and fun, excititing work environment. Lots of support from staff to help grow.

Pros and Cons

High turnover at times since many sales reps are in college
