What does a Veterinary Assistant do?

Functioning as Veterinary Assistants, we are accountable for providing assistance in the treatment of our patients. We provide food to the animals and monitor their health changes to identify and prepare reports on their health progress. We provide customers with the best possible treatments for the health issues of animals. In the role of Veterinary Assistant, we have the ability to work collaboratively with the other technicians and assist them with the completion of their work in the given timelines. We analyze the health conditions of animals and recommend the customer highest quality treatments for their diseases.

Core tasks:

  • ensuring the cleanliness of the laboratories
  • sanitizing and cleaning the testing equipment
  • providing assistance in the work of other veterinarians
  • administering the medications
  • performing other assigned duties
