What does a Vice President OF Construction do?

As Vice Presidents of Construction, we are responsible for certifying that all construction positions are well satisfied with individuals that are competent in technical abilities. We provide training to the field management team and manage construction budgets on each project. Verifying all shortages and fostering a team environment with superintendents and sales is one of our main responsibilities. We recruit and evaluate subcontractors for quality standards and support development activities as needed. Working as Vice Presidents of Construction, we guarantee that all construction personnel is trained and monitor and ensure that the schedule is met on each project. We also oversee all job sites and ensure compliance with company standards.

Job hopping was not my plan . When the owner looses his son who was the VP . I stepped up and took over . But after a year the owner just couldn't do it anymore and sold the company. I was not needed at the new company . I am still doing some consulting with one of the investors until I find a new home .
