Wellpath, formerly Correct Care Solutions, is a healthcare firm located in Nashville, Tennessee, that describes itself as 'one of the nation's leading for-profit healthcare providers for inmates.' Jerry Boyle started the firm in 2003. Wellpath is now owned by the private equity firm H.I.G. Capital. The Wellpath facilities may be found in both the United States and Australia. There are now 550 facilities in 36 states. Every day, these institutions serve about 300,000 patients. Wellpath has positions available in correctional institutions, state psychiatric hospitals, forensic mental health facilities, and other specialist care settings. I shared a concern with my supervisor, in confidence, about a coworker. To my surprise, my statement was shared with everyone in the department where I worked. When I shared my concern with my supervisor, I was told "you have to tell me if you want it to stay private." Enough said...

Always working short staffed, no support from corporate, no work life balance, Wellpath will take from you as much as you will let them have, let you work overtime, short staffed but pay bonuses and work you to death while doing it. They pay decent and the benefits aren't bad.

I felt uncomfortable working there. I would consider it to be a hostile environment. The conversations amongst the majority of staff was extremely unprofessional, with the foul language, conversations about every aspect of sex, not to mention the HIPPA violations ie: discussing male inmates sexual parts, aling with the sexual jokes!
