Founded in 1965, The West Contra Costa Unified School District is a school district in Richmond, California. It serves 30,000 K-12 students across San Pablo, Pinole, El Cerrito, and Hercules and the areas of Bayview-Montalvin Manor, El Sobrante, Kensington, East Richmond Heights, North Richmond, and Tara Hills. It supervises thirty-six elementary schools, six middle schools, and seven high schools.
