The trainers were very patient and helpful with learning the Whirlpool culture. Sometimes it was a little difficult to get a hold of a supervisor, but if the customer was patient, they were taken care of.

I had a wonderful experience during the multi-year span I was there. In fact, had I not relocated for personal reasons, I’d like to think I’d still be with the company. Pay was fair market and there was always room for betterment and growth within the company. Should the opportunity present itself, I wouldn’t hesitate going back to work for Whirlpool Corporation.

I was fine with working there some people were just not the fit for the work I worked hard I enjoyed it every night on time 10 mins before my shift every night

Whirlpool's management style is what I call the "forced ranking" philosophy. A Whirlpool employee is supposed to hold themself up on a high mantle and constantly exhibit how wonderful you are...even at the expense of your own co-workers! I'm not one of those types of persons to do that to others. That's not the way anyone is supposed to act, and especially in the workplace. It made thing very uncomfortable to the individual just trying to do the best job they could do, and also the people around them because never knew where the next arrow was going to land! The bad thing was that the ones who were doing unsatisfactory work and could be making your own job harder to do were not held responsible for their poor performances and made ones who had no control over them the scapegoats that got questioned why something was bottle-necked because of the poor work ethics that those others caused.

Whirlpool washer, etc is a great place to have temporary job or hire on it's a wonderful place to work they teach you how to make it better it's challenging , it's a learning experience and process

Removed from job position a did very well, and had seniority to be replaced by the supervisor's nephew.When i went to talk to personnal maager he listened very well. I was then told if i didn't like the situation there's the door.Bob shum was the director.After 2 years i left to generall motors where i had several promotion.

For such a large company, it was amazing how much the culture appeared to be stagnated in the past. The company was run by people that wanted to create a bunch of people in their image whether it was right or not. They would hire new people and then not really listen. Michael Heim (CIO) suffered from Narcissism that defined his actions based on people's response to him. Not a good place to work, unless you want to be a female that acts like a man.

White straight males do not apply to Whirlpool. You will never succeed. And the first sign of economic trouble, you are on the chopping block.

Having a number of positions, job titles and wide range of responsibilities what I liked most is the continuous opportunity to learn

Love the people that work there very competitive place to work enjoy every minute got to meet new people

I Work in Fabrication department lots to learn and do , many opportunities for overtime $ , great insurance and benefits

Whirlpool was the best job I have ever had the only reason I left was due to me moving out of Ohio and finding a job closer to home. I would live to go back. I loved my work environment and the people I worked with specially the caring employers I worked for. When there was an issue it was worked out and never Lingered on. It was physical and kept me moving and I enjoyed that bc I don’t like sitting in one spot. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking work!

I was an assistant manager at Wendy's for 6 and a 1/2 years I saw there was no chance of girls I left and went to world full Amana and for the last 8 and a 1/2 years it was the best decision I could have made
