About Wine Steward

What does a Wine Steward do?

As Wine Stewards, we supervise and assist in maintainance of restaurant ambience and suitability of food and wine tasting procedures to recommend tastes and handle routine tasks. We are capable of giving recommendations to fit customer's needs and tastes. With guests greeting we develop winemaking techniques and in wine clubs for winery history and provide general tourist information. Our routine handling POS transactions help us operate cash registers, processing of returns, discounts and routine purchases.

Core tasks:

  • wine descriptions and establishment of tasting procedures
  • conduct guided tours when needed
  • stay updated on winery knowledge
  • suggest and sell wine for tasting to customers
