The drive to be not only a leading tax and accounting information company but also a highly profitable one. Unfortunately, were not prepared to move quickly to online publishing. Due to declining profit, a cycle of replacing management with borderline qualification to run a publishing company lead to a series of poor decision. This resulted in a continuing decline in revenue. I would not recommend working in the tax area but focus on the accounting and human resource areas of the company.
Pros and Cons
A solid work/life balance program allowing for work from home and generous time off.
Very political; advancement based on who you know not on merit. Management a revolving door.

I worked for this internationally known company for one month through a contracting agency for an employee who was out having surgery. Though most employees seemed overworked and stressed, it was an excellent working environment. I enjoyed the work.
Pros and Cons
Great downtown location
Work location required you to pay for parking which was a little expensive.
