About Workday Consultant

What does a Workday Consultant do?

We, the workday consultants, work with major IT users and client businesses to define business needs and devise solutions to meet their requirements. Understanding the business processes for the Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, talent, and recruiting Management modules is also our responsibility. Some of us collaborate between various business units and give a consulting perspective to implement processes around Workday. We manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for on-time project delivery and lead different teams in the design of the Workday HCM solution.

Core tasks:

  • providing expertise on the functional subject matter on the Workday HCM solution
  • managing process redesign
  • managing test and technical teams to implement functionality
