Every year, WorldStrides provides educational travel and experiences to over 530,000 students. It was established in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1967 by a Chicago middle school social studies teacher. The organization has now evolved to become a leader in experiential learning for students of all ages across their entire learning journey. WorldStrides' services include performing arts, sports, language immersion, career development, and service-learning, in addition to local and foreign travel and study abroad programs. Each of these encounters enables students to go beyond the classroom and view the world – and themselves – in new ways.
