About Youth Care Worker

What does a Youth Care Worker do?

As youth care workers, we perform community-based campaigns launched to bolster support within vulnerable and young cohorts. We furnish support to vulnerable youth using targeted campaign deliveries. Our responsibilities include revealing prevailing inequalities, disseminating and coordinating practical aid, and providing strong community interventions. Sending referrals to accessible regional hubs and remaining steadfast and accessible as a mentor are also our duties. We also assist unemployed youth to take meaningful and gainful work.

Core tasks:

  • familiarizing with youth-related issues, particularly within vulnerable cohorts
  • making and rolling out sustainable and targeted campaigns to reduce inequities
  • promoting reunification in every adequate instance and spurring social cohesion to encourage wellbeing
