As Youth Services Librarians, we are responsible for conducting community assessments to determine youth needs. We create customized programs to address identified requirements of youth. We provide them with direct assistance to essential information regarding the use of library services. Performing professional library tasks such as conducting in-depth research such as homework support is also a part of our duty. We recommend suitable materials for youth based on their interests and curriculum needs. Working as Youth Services Librarians, we are responsible for preparing and presenting programs to youth. We make sure the library's collections include relevant resources aimed at the specific needs of the youth. Finally, we supervise volunteers working in the library.
