Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corp. are a non-profit Tribal Corporation that acts as the primary healthcare provider for the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta's people. They operate community hospitals, a regional hospital, dental care, mental health services, and more. They are a Joint Commission Gold Seal facility. The historic homeland is the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, a lowland river delta. The area, which covers 75,000 square miles and is roughly the size of Oregon, has a population of over 23,000 people who live in 58 rural communities that are not connected by road. Each community has a population of 25 to over 1,000 people. Bethel, the regional utility, and transit hub is home to nearly 7,000 people. Bethel is only accessible by plane, boat, and (in the winter) snowmobiles and four-wheelers from the villages. During the winter, cars often use frozen rivers as highways. They invite them to learn more about them if they want to collaborate with other professionals who share their ideas and dedication to improving the quality of life for those around them.
