About the Marketing Associate Position

Intermax is a rapidly growing telecommunications and IT company headquartered in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

We are seeking a person with a marketing background and good organizational and administrative skills to assist us in continuing to raise our profile in the marketplace, to generate qualified leads, to assist in shaping our online presence, and to help us continue to grow the company.

The Marketing Associate will work directly with the company president and sales management to implement advertising campaigns to raise awareness and generate qualified leads for the company. A strong focus of this position will be online/web-based marketing, advertising, lead generation, and data tracking.

Detailed Job Functions

Coordinate marketing and advertising campaigns and activities for the company within the sales and marketing department
Assist in developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives
Work internally and with outside ad agency to craft a range of different marketing materials
Work within the company's marketing budget
Be involved with company events and sales outreach
Manage and improve lead generation campaigns and measure results
Prepare online and print marketing campaigns
Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications
Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary; recommending options and courses of action; and implementing directives
Maintain relations with customers by organizing and developing specific customer- relations programs
Assist in determining company presence at conventions, annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.

Work Conditions

Salaried Exempt position
Position is in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho main corporate office
Sitting for extended periods of time
Some travel to local events, trade shows, and regional sales events
Dexterity of hands and fingers (or skill with adaptive devices) to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computing equipment.

Tasks

Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.

Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature.

Attend staff conferences to provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products or services.

Direct trained survey interviewers.

Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.
