How do I delete my Lensa account?
Go to “Account center” and click on “Delete my Lensa Account”. Deletion will take effect within 24 hours. You may still receive job alerts during this time.
How do I set my job search preferences in my profile?
If you wish to make changes to your profile or job alert settings, you may do so by clicking the “edit settings" or "visit your account page" link provided in our daily alerts. Job title and location settings can also be reached from within your “Account center” - “Job preferences” tab. We currently only support one job title and location at a time.
Can I send my resume to Lensa via email?
We don’t accept resumes sent via email. Please go to your “Account center” - “Resume” tab to upload your resume. Please note that our system does not support files that are not text-based (e.g. scanned resumes, photo files converted into pdf format). We recommend you upload a text-based file in .doc, .txt or .pdf format.
Are jobs on Lensa available worldwide?
Lensa only operates in the U.S. with U.S. based openings. If you’re not an American citizen but wish to seek employment in the U.S., please note that as a job board we have limited resources and cannot aid you in obtaining a working visa.

How do I get more information about the jobs Lensa sends me?
Because we don’t “own” the job listings on Lensa.com, we can’t provide details beyond what you see on our website. For further information, we recommend contacting the company that advertises the position directly.
Can I still search for jobs on Lensa if I don’t have a resume?
Lensa’s service doesn’t necessarily require a resume to provide you with matching jobs, but having one uploaded to your profile will increase the number of fitting jobs matched to you using Lensa.
Can I filter my search for remote jobs only?
You can search for remote/work from home jobs by updating your ‘Job Preferences’ in your ‘Account Settings’ to "Remote+job title" (e.g.: Remote Sales Representative). Our engineers are working on an improved filtering system to make this type of search easier. Stay tuned!
What happens with my personal data when I create a Lensa account?
Lensa is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we may collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us when you use our site.
We do not distribute your personal data to third parties without your prior consent.
To opt-out from selling your personal information, please visit the ‘Privacy Center’ tab within your ‘Account center’.
Under the section "How we use your private data", you can fine tune or disable the entire third party access to your data by deactivating the "Enable trusted third parties to access your data" switch.

Lensa is a job search engine. We are not an agent or representative of any employer. Our focus is on providing free job alerts for our registered jobseekers and delivering matching jobs on a daily basis. Lensa’s matching algorithm recommends relevant jobs based on the preset location and job title preferences.
If it was up to us, we’d set up the interview and send you flowers, too! However, we’re a job board, so our ability to assist you with your application is limited. If you are interested in any of the positions in our job alerts, click on the preferred job to get the detailed job description on the source page and follow the instructions to apply. If your application is successful, the employer will contact you and arrange an interview with you. If you wish to know the status of your ongoing application, contact the company you applied to directly. Our fingers are crossed for you!
Is Lensa a free service?
Lensa’s job alert service is free of charge, however, we have affiliate partners that may charge you (e.g.: ResumeRabbit’s service, which belongs to a separate company only available from our page). Don’t worry – it’ll be up to you to decide whether or not you’d like to use their service!
Can Lensa have an impact on my applications with the hiring companies I apply to?

I receive too many emails. How do I manage my job alerts?
If you wish to reduce the amount of emails you receive, you can modify your subscription from within your account as follows:
Go to ‘Account center’ - click on the ‘Notifications’ widget and move the slider to manage your subscriptions.
Why do I get redirected to other sites to view/apply to certain jobs?
It may happen that the position we send you is advertised through a different website, in these cases, you are redirected to that specific website where you can apply for the position.
Can Lensa check and polish my resume?
We typically don’t review resumes, but one of our partners, TopResume, offers free resume feedback to Lensa members. You may reach TopResume from within your ‘Account center” - “Resume” tab. Once you upload your resume, the option will be displayed.
I’m located outside of the United States. Can I look for jobs on Lensa?
Lensa is currently limited to the U.S. job market, therefore jobs can only be accessed from locations within the United States.
How do I change my email address I’ve initially registered with?
The email address is the primary means of identification for your account, so it cannot be changed. If you wish to receive job alerts to another email address, we suggest you create a new account with the new email address and delete the current one.
