Designs, codes, tests and implements software applications solutions including existing applications and new development projects for Salt Lake County's PeopleSoft Enterprise ERP solution.
Seven (7) years of closely related experience OR a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, or other closely related field, plus three (3) years of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check and subsequent mandatory background checks in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
Delivers bug fixes, defect resolution, minor and major enhancements in the PeopleSoft applications.
Investigates operational and system problems; provides resolution, escalating to a senior programmer analyst where appropriate.
Works with team to determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions.
Collects, analyzes and summarizes development and service issues with the ERP systems.
Conforms to established development practices
Demonstrates solution feasibility by developing documentation, flowcharts layouts, diagrams, charts and code comments as requested.
Provides ongoing enhancements, maintenance, and support all ERP systems, customizations, interfaces, integrations, etc.
Analyzes and troubleshoots technical issues and identifies modifications needed in the program to meet changing user requirements. Enlists the aid of senior team members when necessary.
