We're looking for an innovative, HR-minded VP to lead Acronym through their next phase of growth. And we want you! As the Vice President, Human Resources in this fast-paced agency environment you will develop long range goals and strategies that balance talent acquisition with retention and development across all teams at Acronym.   • Promotes a culture rooted in a strong commitment to shared purpose and provides on-going development to support a team of trusted experts
  • Ensures the Agency is aligned to shared values and guiding principles that engender a healthy productive environment
  • Develop strategies for effective recruitment, building on existing practices to ensure consistent access to qualified candidates and a healthy talent pipeline
  • Contribute meaningfully to Acronym's efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion, both in the talent pipeline/recruiting and across the employee lifecycle
  • Create and execute a lifecycle approach to talent management that includes defining org and talent gaps and HR solutions, forecasting, staffing, on-boarding, development, performance management, career / succession planning, talent mobility and retention
  • Collaborate with leadership across multiple disciplines to develop consistent, thoughtful approaches to personnel management that lead to professional growth and foster personal development
  • Ensure consistent compliance with all regulations governing employment, contracting, and obligations to team members
  • Serve as a coach/mentor, providing advice and knowledge rooted in human resources, talent development, and employee engagement to the broader executive and leadership teams
This is you....
  • 10+ years of HR management experience, with time in an executive capacity
  • Experience growing and leading a highly efficient and productive team, with ownership over both talent acquisition and employee engagement (retention and growth), preferably in a distributed digital agency
  • Certification in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of employment and labor law required
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, solution orientation - ability to work through complex problems to identify solutions and build buy-in for those solutions
  • Demonstrated technical competence with regard to HCM platforms and the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Microsoft Teams

Tasks

  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
