Location: This position is office based and must reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The Accountant Regulatory Rptg or Job Family position is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of external filings that are filed with government agencies. Provides assistance with more complex filings.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Prepares filings using the general ledger system and specific financial statement preparation software.
Assists with responding to government and/or regulatory agencies requests/questions.
Prepares accounting reconciliations.
Works with outside auditors.
Requires BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance; 3+ years of related accounting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Statutory accounting and/or SEC reporting experience preferred but not required.
