THE POSITION
The Department of Transportation, Engineering District 4, is seeking an organized, positive individual work in the Fiscal Department. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Accounting Assistant, you will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties to support to the Enginerring District 4 Office. These functions include accounts payable, preparing purchase orders, processing invoices, and researching and resolving discrepancies.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work; or
An Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration including or supplemented by six credits of Accounting.

As Accounting Assistants, we help the accountant in daily activities by entering and coding financial transactions appropriately, process payments and invoices.
