Princeton Information is seeking qualified candidates for a Accounting Assistant opportunity in Jacksonville, IL for a major client.
Job Description:
1-2 years accounting experience, desired but not required
Self motivated, detail oriented, good communication skills, both oral and written required
Computer skills are a must, including experience working with Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and Access.
Willingness to learn, follow detailed instructions and work in a fast paced office environment
Ability to multi-task and stay on top of several tasks at the same time
Optional:
Previous insurance knowledge is a plus, but not required.
I have 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial analysis, including managing accounts payable and receivable.
As Accounting Assistants, we help the accountant in daily activities by entering and coding financial transactions appropriately, process payments and invoices. We are also responsible for issuing invoices to customers based on services rendered and goods sold, reviewing employees’ expenses, and making reimbursements in compliance with the law. We track and administer all expenses and repayments, helping the accountants create accurate balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
