ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for support of the sales and operations groups by processing signed sales quotations to orders ready for operation to commence work within 24 hours, following up the lab work process, communication with clients, supporting billing process. This entails leveraging a keen understanding of all Intertek services and ESC and Oracle/Peoplesoft.
- Qualifying order requests from Sales
- Entering qualified orders in ERP Order Management or Order Entry module
- Initialize and close credit checks
- Collect deposits, when required
- Create projects
- Prepare initial project files
- Deliver files to designated parties
- Follow up lab work process
- Communicate with client
- Provide support to billing
- Perform other work as required
Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: - Associate’s Degree, or equivalent, with 1-2 years data entry experience
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to type quickly and accurately
- Proficiency in Microsoft software applications
- ERP (Oracle/Peoplesoft) and web-based computer program experience desired
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively interface with staff and clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment is essential
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively
- Must have proactive and positive attitude
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related majors Experience in client service and billing Experience in analytical testing
