Description

Position Summary:

The Commercial Coordinator reports to the Commercial Manager. The Commercial Coordinator serves as liaison between Administrative, Commercial and Field Operations Divisions of Resolve Marine.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Assist in identifying job opportunities for the Resolve Group of Companies.
  • Draft Salvage and Towing Contracts.
  • Review Salvage Plans, Site Safety Plans, Dive Safety Plans and upgrade plans with work status and facilitate communication of same to the field operations.
  • Update clients, USCG, and all pertinent authorities on work progress.
  • Arrange Port formalities for floating assets entering and leaving both U.S. and foreign ports.
  • Arrange the charter of floating assets for clients and to support field operations.
  • Provide services as a Project Coordinator when required.
  • Assist in preparation of client invoices for completed projects including review of invoices included in billing.
  • Bid team Coordinator (bidding job globally)
  • Perform related duties as required.
  • Research and maintain resource partner network throughout North America.
  • Participate in contract negotiations, execution, and invoicing for the projects and services.
  • Assist coordination between projects and headquarters to ensure conformance with contractual obligation and job performance.
  • Perform On-Call commercial duty responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Position Requirements:
  • Graduate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration/ Management, Finance, Economics, International Business, Engineering or equivalent documented experience.
  • 1 year of experience in salvage, marine vessels, marine salvage, project coordination, logistics, contracts, accounting/finance strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including, Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, Outlook and SharePoint, Microsoft project and business productivity applications to include Concur & Fusion Chronos.
  • Computer Skills:
    • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills:
      • Graph and manipulate graph data
      • Use general shortcut and function keys
      • Able to integrate formulas in spreadsheets
      • Able to manage complex spreadsheets
    • Microsoft Project:
      • Create job timelines using Gantt Charts and manage resources.
    • Microsoft Word
      • Advanced composition and formatting skills.
    • Basic Adobe Acrobat skills:
      • Convert word docs into PDFs
      • Insert or extract PDF pages from files
      • Make PDFs editable

Travel Requirement:

Up to _25 - 50___% travel is required. If additional, travel is required beyond the specified amount, based on the operational demand, you will be notified accordingly so arrangements can be made.
