Responsibilities
IGT is seeking a Director of Corporate Development (M&A) to drive the development and execution of the Company’s acquisition growth strategy and portfolio optimization initiatives. The Director of Corporate Development will evaluate, analyze and execute acquisitions and divestitures, and drive corporate growth and profitability. This individual will work directly with the VP Mergers & Acquisition to provide recommendations based on research and analysis of the industry.
A flexible/remote working arrangement can be considered for those living in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
Position Description:
Work closely with Business Units to develop IGT’s M&A strategy (acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and partnerships)
Develop detailed business plans for M&A opportunities, including bottoms-up synergy plans
Lead and manage deal evaluation, analysis, structuring and execution
Lead/coordinate due diligence process, including communicating with counterparties and managing data rooms
Work closely with legal / compliance to assess regulatory risks and develop/implement mitigation strategies
Manage and coordinate internal cross functional team
Manage and coordinate external advisory team (legal, financial, tax, accounting, etc.)
Ensure deal valuation and structuring is based on consistent application of best practice and aimed at maximizing shareholder value
Support development of compelling strategic rationale / equity story for internal/board approval process as well as for external communications
Support development of specific deal financing and ratings agency communication strategy
Qualifications

Exceptional financial and analytical skills including substantial experience with valuation, accounting principles and financial statement analysis

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Minimum of 4-8 years of relevant professional experience in finance, consulting, or M&A with knowledge of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and partnerships
Gaming experience a plus
