Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)
o Conducting enrollment procedures and identifying and addressing immediate needs
o Gathering child health and development information and conducting screenings under state, federal and other applicable regulations
o Establishing trusting relationships
o Conducting home visits
o Communicating effectively and assessing individual family strengths and needs to assist families in setting and achieving goals
Qualifications
Requiredü High School Diploma or GED
ü Must obtain family development credential within 18 months of hire
ü Two or more years in community-based services or related experience
ü Ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting
ü Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance
ü Must pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearance
ü Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis
ü Must obtain First Aid and CPR certification
Preferredü Associate degree in early childhood education, social services, business administration or related field
I prioritize tasks by assessing the urgency and importance of each family's needs, and create a schedule to address them accordingly.
