Takes direction from the Heavy Equipment lead and the operations manager to reach specific production goals.
• Operate all pieces of heavy equipment owned or rented
• Able to rig equipment, flight hardware and other items for lifting operations.
• Expected to work overtime and on non-standard work days to operate heavy equipment and meet deadlines.
• Maintain heavy equipment: make minor repairs, organize major repairs, coordinate preventative maintenance, create and sustain maintenance/repair logs for all heavy equipment, perform daily, weekly and monthly checks on all heavy equipment.
• Track daily equipment whereabouts and usage. Inform management of improper usage.
• Hangar Receiving – responsible for escorting, unloading and delivering freight to shipping and receiving
• Participate in Builds and other hangar activities
• Must be comfortable with heights and overhead work
• Ensure a clean, organized and professional workplace. Practice 5S methodology.
• Enforce/follow company policies and report any violations to the manager.
• Ensure workplace safety above everything else.

I have 3 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting, including loading and unloading trucks and moving materials safely and efficiently.
As forklift operators, we unload merchandise and materials from delivery vehicles and stack them to designated areas. We locate and move stocks of products to crates or pallets for shipment or storage. We are responsible for identifying and reporting shortages, damages and any quality issues on materials or products before storage or shipment. We are charged with transporting raw materials to production workstations. We are expected to perform inspection of machinery to determine needed repairs and ensure regular maintenance to enhance safety of the equipment. We ensure that the working environment is safe and orderly. We forklift operators also maintain updated records and activity logs for inventory and its movement within the facilities.
