JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION

Serves as a team contributor responsible for implementing Black Knight's Bankruptcy and Foreclosure product under the guidance of project lead Consultants and the Resource Manager. May also perform acquisition and release projects. Provides technical guidance on requirements, configuration and business implications. Provides project materials, training and support throughout the project.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works individually or within a team on Implementation projects to meet specific client requirements.
  • Serves as liaison between the client and Black Knight internal support teams and development.
  • Elicits and defines client default business data and operational needs, process configuration and technical requirements.
  • Provides technical requirements for development according to Black Knight internal templates and standards.
  • Prepares initial region configuration, client-facing materials for test and production events and performs internal testing.
  • Coordinates and controls client test and go-live activities, triages defects, sizes changes and finalizes new requirements.
  • Performs Support handoff and project closure activities.
  • Completes all steps necessary to carry out a project within established time frame, quality and requirements.
  • Analyzes upcoming product enhancements for impacts to requirements and team procedures. Recommends and makes updates accordingly.
  • Delivers Client Tester, Administrator and End User training.
  • Consults directly with the client and may eventually travel to a client or Black Knight site (up to 10% travel may be required).
  • Grows to independently handle responsibilities with minimum involvement and guidance from management.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

A Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Prior Mortgage or Home Equity Servicing experience highly preferred
  • Functional knowledge in Default and in Acquisitions and Service Releases
  • Experience with application implementation or data conversion projects
  • Experience handling multiple projects with varying complexity and timelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 with advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio skills
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of mortgage and home equity servicing industry
  • Familiarity with Black Knight products and services
  • Hands-on experience with Bankruptcy and Foreclosure product a plus
  • Business Analyst, Technical Analyst or Project Management certification a plus
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile software development methodology a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Willingness to learn and to share relevant knowledge and expertise with team members
  • Demonstrated team player with ability to steer projects to a successful outcome
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, negotiation, and time management skills

Technology Business Consultant I

Entry-level role. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency. Generally performs tasks that tend to be of small to moderate size and scope. Works under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. Consults with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience. Typically requires up to three years of demonstrated business analysis/consulting experience and demonstrated technical capabilities.
