Duties and Responsibilities

(to include but not be limited to the following):

The contractor shall be the point of contact and work flow organizer for the team.
The contractor shall work with stakeholders, leadership, and subject matter experts to build a holistic view of the organization s strategy, processes, information, and assets.
The contractor shall work with JPEO-CBRND program-level architects to provide a consensus-based Enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable, and in synchronization with operational requirements.
The contractor shall support the analysis of JPEO-CBRND capability gaps and overlaps in the course of achieving the Enterprise mission.
The contractor shall develop, maintain, and validate DODAF architectures for JPEO-CBRND initiatives, programs, and the Enterprise.
The contractor shall utilize architecture products to identify system dependencies and potential capability gaps.
The contractor shall develop DODAF architecture models in coordination with the program office and user sponsors such as Joint Requirements Office (JRO) and/or individual service and non-DOD sponsors.
The contractor shall work with JPEO-CBRND program engineers in order to develop system-level architectures.
The contractor shall ensure the DODAF architecture models are consistent with other JPEO-CBRND architecture models as well as J6 Warfighter Mission Area (WMA) architecture development guidance.
The contractor shall develop architecture products to support acquisition documents (i. e., Capability Development Documents (CDDs), Capability Production Documents (CPDs), and Information Support Plans (ISPs)).
The contractor shall provide comments and input to support program and contract documentation (i. e., Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)).
The contractor shall participate in JPEO-CBRND Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) at the program and Enterprise level.
The contractor may be required to travel up to 20% CONUS.

Qualifications and Experience :

Required

The contractor shall possess twelve (12) years of general experience and eight (8) years of relevant experience.
The contractor shall possess experience with the UNICOM Systems Architect tool or No Magic Inc. MagicDraw Architect tool.
The contractor shall have experience with either the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
The contractor shall possess familiarity with Joint Common System Function List (JCSFL), Joint Common Architecture (JCA), Net-Ready Key Performance Parameter (NR KPP), Universal Joint Task List (UJTL), and National Information Exchange Model (NIEM).
The contractor shall possess familiarity with Joint Program Executive Office Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) programs.
The contractor shall possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to assess and clearly communicate technical and project risk.
The contractor shall possess excellent organizational skills.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree.

Security :

Candidate must possess and be able to maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.

Tasks

Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.

Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design.

Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.

Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Web sites.

Use computer software to generate new images.

Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.

Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.

Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients or supervisors and making necessary changes.

Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer.

Key information into computer equipment to create layouts for client or supervisor.

Research new software or design concepts.

Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services.

Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer.

Prepare notes and instructions for workers who assemble and prepare final layouts for printing.

Produce still and animated graphics for on-air and taped portions of television news broadcasts, using electronic video equipment.

Photograph layouts, using camera, to make layout prints for supervisors or clients.
