Position Summary:
With more than 35 existing locations and plans to expand throughout the nation, Milan is growing rapidly. As part of this growth, we are looking for an experienced IT Help Desk professional to provide user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications, devices, and platforms. This individual will also troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action, setup and provision new users and devices as well as plan and budget for new IT expenditures.
Status: Full-time
Hours: Hours will be somewhat flexible, but range within 7:30-6:30 M-F
Compensation: Based on experience
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Responsibilities Include:
Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
Research questions using available information resources
Advise user on appropriate action
Log all issues and resolutions
Redirect problems to correct resource
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
Prepare activity reports
Inform management of recurring problems
Stay current with system information, changes and updates
Train new staff on basics of company systems
Requirements to be considered for this role are as follows:
Bachelors degree preferred (or relevant experience)
Working knowledge of fundamental operations of Windows/Mac PCs, iOS Devices (iPads, Apple TVs, iPhones), and connected devices (VoIP telephones, printers, internet radio receivers etc.)
Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
