We are seeking a Litigations Collections Attorney to join our collections legal team. You will have the opportunity to enter at the ground floor and have tremendous international responsibilities. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, computer savvy, extremely detail oriented, organized and a team player with a demonstrated ability to problem solve. This person will be involved in all aspects of growing our international/ offshore customer service and collections teams. In this role you will be assisting with effectuating recovery of outstanding balances either pre or post-judgment. You will have a chance to incorporate your previous legal/recovery efforts to streamline and scale our current operations and assist in building a world-class customer service & recovery team.

This full-time position may be remote; however, candidates must be admitted to the Florida Bar and work in Miami Dade county (also being admitted to the New York Bar is preferred) .
Responsibilities: Negotiate terms for pre or post judgment settlements; Effectively handle motion practice and attend hearings; Manage workload of internal and external counsel and monitor the cost, timeliness, and quality of results; Prepare S&C, Affidavits and pleading documents; Assist with e-filing; Liaison with the court on active files; File Proof of Claims and monitor bankruptcy cases; Constant communication with international staff; May be required to take and defend depositions; May be required to perform other tasks and duties reasonably related to the job Requirements: Juris Doctor Degree; Florida Bar License a must. Admitted to the New York Bar is preferred. Related legal and undergraduate courses such as secured transactions, UCC, accounting, finance; Experience in legal collections is preferred; but not necessary; Skilled at multitasking; able to coordinate, organize, prioritize, and execute responsibilities in the face of conflicting priorities and unexpected situations; Extremely detailed oriented a must; Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM is desirable; ability to manage multiple software applications; Strong work ethic; High level of discretion; Knowledge of the legal and any regulatory framework affecting commercial collections is a plus; Must be willing to travel for court appearances in Florida; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Must have motion practice experience Compensation/Benefits : Extremely competitive salary; 401(k) with company match; Health, Vision, and Dental benefits; Generous PTO; Opportunity to work with a smart, passionate team.
