Job Summary
Rockwell Collins is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Systems Engineering Intern to support airborne platforms across multiple programs.
The position will require the verification of software requirements by creating and running functional tests in a laboratory test environment utilizing a combination of simulations and interfacing subsystems. In addition, the assignment may require assisting in other elements of the system engineering process including requirements analysis and capture, system/sub-system design, software requirements definition, integration, and formal test for requirement verification.
The candidate will perform these assignments in conjunction with other system and software engineers using Rockwell Collins engineering processes.
The applicant will be part of a team that supports the UH/HH-60 Black Hawk cockpit. Successful programs depend on teamwork grounded in internal communication as well as direct interaction with the end customer including presentations, technical exchanges, and on-site support.
The candidate should be self-motivated and willing to work and learn in a fast paced environment as part of a dynamic and growing subsystem development team. Additionally, the candidate should be experienced in all facets of system development and familiar with common system engineering tools and practices.
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must have the following skills or qualifications:
Must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. US Citizenship is required.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Working as Systems Engineering Interns, we are responsible for assisting the senior systems engineers of the company. We perform our assigned tasks within the given timeline to satisfy our employers. We address the issues of our senior engineers and deliver their messages to the management. In the role of Systems Engineering Intern, we are liable for contributing our engineering expertise in the enhancement of designs of internal systems by contributing our ideas.
