Job Description

The Lead Specialist - Supply Chain L&D will be responsible for supporting & facilitating learning solutions and curriculum that enables speed to proficiency of Domino's SC Team Members and training against all documented standard operating procedures. This role will build learning solutions for several moments that matter- orientation, onboarding, skill building and proficiency, on-going development, and will partner with the business teams to diagnose performance gaps and identify and develop targeted learning solutions. An individual in this role will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service while building lasting relationships with business unit leaders.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

(40%) Lead creation and implementation of field team development and training

• Lead projects that help standardize and enhance orientation, onboarding, and ongoing development

• Support adoption of all areas of supply chain field team development: orientation, onboarding, and ongoing development

• Perform needs assessments/gap analysis with internal SCC stakeholders to drive improvements to existing learning systems and technologies, processes, and standardization needs

• Partner with SCS Operations and COE leaders to collect feedback and make recommendations for training Supply Chain team members for proficiency and retention

• Ensure learning systems are leveraged fully to execute training for all job functions and progressive skill development

• Support new center startups with new TM and leader training programs and train-the-trainer

• Develop and partner with L&D team to facilitate train-the-trainer workshops and support center-level trainers and SMEs

• Execute the rollout of training for new methods, systems, and best practices

• Lead effective communication cadence with SCLT and field leaders to ensure awareness, engagement, execution, program support

• Conduct SCC support visits virtually and in-person, assess and coach to adoption of established learning curriculum, tools, resources, and standard processes

• Lead and deploy program to collect feedback on training to analyze, improve and sustain effectiveness

(30%) Lead SC Learning System Design, Learner Experience and Curriculum

• Partner with business (learners, leaders of learners, SMEs, etc.) to diagnose and identify true root cause of LMS/LXP, curriculum needs and gaps to performance

• Partner with our Learning Design, product management, and IT teams to enhance LMS capabilities and drive structured approaches to data collection and consolidation through demos, design, and implementation

• Be the expert in optimizing current and future LMS learning platforms, including key functionality, system integration, and stakeholder support

• Consult and coach clients on fit-for-purpose enablement and learning solutions and content to support the development of SC TMs at all levels

• Rationalize key learning assets and content to be deployed to Supply Chain audience

• Provide actionable recommendations, improvement plans and support to improve SC training quality, capability, and execution

• Work with internal and external partners to source additional resources or to develop alternative solutions

(30%) Support learning and development programs and projects

• Partner with Global Talent and Learning Team and HR Business Partners to deliver learning solutions and learning technologies that support Supply Chain teams

• Lead projects and programs through analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation to meet intended outcomes

• Effectively manage stakeholder relationships by leading projects and programs with effective change management and communication

• Determine the project resources needed to achieve the goals and objectives of the initiative

• Build and leverage productivity tools to actively manage workstreams, emerging needs, collaborate and provide closed-loop service to stakeholders

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Communications/Training preferred

• Minimum of 5+ years of learning and development experience along with strong skills in instructional design, training delivery, project management, needs analysis and evaluation methods, coaching/consulting

• Ability to present to and influence front-line team members and executive-level leaders

• Proven experience taking initiative to proactively analyze problems and ideating solutions

• Proven experience using lean processes to drive continuous improvement

• Proficient with MS Office applications, knowledge of LMS and e-learning development

• Ability to effectively organize work, prioritize and manage time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with short deadlines and high stress on multiple projects

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and facilitation skills

• Attention to detail and structure to ensure high quality training materials

• Must have the ability to work as part of a larger team, balance multiple tasks/objectives and ability to handle frequently changing demands

• Ability to travel 25+% including overnight travel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - NOT NECESSARY, BUT GREAT TO HAVE

  • Master's degree in Business, IO Psychology, Communications or education related discipline
  • Supply chain/manufacturing/warehousing experience preferred
