Technical Trainer 1

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performing functions associated with all wafer production operations, including photo, thin film, metrology, etch and diffusion & all Final or Backside processes.
  • Performing set-up, calibration and preventative maintenance tasks on wafer fabrication equipment.
  • Collecting and evaluating operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
  • Using programs E. g. - Excel, Fabtime, Promis, Task Management to track and control wafers through the production process.
  • Coaching or training all levels of technicians, and those of groups that support operations manufacturing.
  • Responsible to develop teamwork, leadership and technical skills.
  • Will be working closely with engineering in conducting tests and experiments.
  • Will be participating in core meetings to solve technical process and production types of issues.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing and conducting technical training programs.
  • Preparing and conducting technical testing programs to validate the training programs.
  • Assessing training needs and certification requirements.
  • Preparing training material and classroom agenda.
  • Providing end-user training.
  • Conducting presentations and new hire classes.
  • Creating instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
  • Assessing the comprehension level of the training at periodic intervals (certification renewals).
  • Assisting in the design of computer-based and multimedia curriculum.
  • Managing the training program in accordance with business needs.
  • Updating and managing traning documents.
Minumum Requirement:
  • HIgh school diploma is a must!
  • Strong verbal, written skills, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office, (Word, Excel, Outlook, and advanced PowerPoint use)
  • Experience in photo/thin film/metrology area preferred
  • Must be able to work in a clean-room environment and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to work alone and/or with limited supervision
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 lbs. independently, or lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance
